Module configuration
Module status decides which tools are active for an event or collection.
Today, module configuration is visible through the event setup routes. It can record module enablement, and that status affects whether users can reach show pages such as Event Control, Mapping, and Documents.
Partial implementation
The current module configuration UI is not yet a full guided setup centre. It does not walk a user through all module-specific prerequisites, health checks, or publishing steps. Track this in Feature notes.
How to use it now
Use module status as a clear switch:
- enable a module when the event will use that tool;
- keep a module disabled when the event does not need it;
- pair enablement with access roles so the right people can open the live page.
What to check after enabling a module
- The module appears for users with the right access.
- Event Control has usable settings and categories.
- Mapping has a configured base map and any required layers.
- Documents has the right editor and viewer access.
Best practice
Do not enable every module by default. Enable the tools the show will actually use, then rehearse those tools with the users who will operate them.
